The Growth Cycle Program™ is a flexible maintenance strategy for golf course, vineyard, green industry, sports turf, agriculture and landscape professionals.
Whether you are grooming your golf course, maximizing crop yield, or maintaining parks and open space, Cycle Works will assist you in establishing and maintaining ideal soil composition and structure.
Soil testing eliminates guesswork. We never make any recommendations based on supposition. In our tests, we analyze more than a dozen factors that contribute to healthy soil. We inventory the nutrient level and assess the physical properties.
We don’t stop there. Water is the lifeblood of the plant so we also perform a water analysis. And, we look at the plants as well. We will perform a tissue analysis to determine the nutrient content of the plants and learn what they have been unable to absorb from the soil.
Careful analysis of the results and a report to you on what we've found follows. We also can work from soil tests that you already have performed. From test results, we can determine the right combination of biological products to replenish essential nutrients and bacteria, get the pH into proper balance and free up the roots so they can do their job.
We also test the liquid biological solutions we recommend as they are being mixed, ensuring that the products you buy and apply are exactly what they should be. And after the program has been implemented, we'll test again to be sure we are doing what’s best for the soil.
Every situation is different. However, regardless of the program we put together to keep your soil healthy, the goals are the same: sustain aerobic soil, minimize environmental impact, reduce water consumption, lower cost of course management, and eliminate persistent turf problems.
When we work with you, we'll begin by explaining why natural, biological solutions are superior to chemical applications. We'll also show you how foliar spraying and injection methods can complement granular programs. We'll explain each part of the Cycle Works Natural Growth Program so you can make informed choices about how much, or little, assistance you want from Cycle Works, — whether that's a complete solution, custom biological programs or injections systems, or project management.
From test results, we can determine the right combination of agronomical and biological products and techniques to replenish essential nutrients, get the pH into proper balance and free up the roots so they can do their job.
You know your golf course better than anyone. You know what you envision it to be and where the problems are. The more we know about your individual goals, the more we can fine tune our solutions to meet them.
We use only food/pharmaceutical grade liquid nutrients. These liquid nutrients are eight to ten times more effective than traditional granular applications. Our products can be applied through injection systems — which we also design — foliar spraying and spot treating.
Our flexible approach is good for the soil and for you. You make the decisions, whether it’s a complete solution, a custom biological package and fertigation system or project management. We can also work with you to enhance the effectiveness of an existing maintenance program.
Most superintendents, growers and park managers will experience the dilemma of spreading fertilizer the day before heavy rain and then wonder how much of the fertilizer is either washed away in run off or leached below the root zone.
Regular, small applications of soluble nutrients overcome these problems, save labor, reduce compaction and result in fertilizer being placed around the plants roots uniformly, allowing for rapid uptake of nutrients by the plant.
The effectiveness of fertigation is often dependent on the effectiveness of the irrigation system. The full advantages of irrigation and fertigation only become evident if the correct irrigation design is employed to meet plant requirements and to distribute water and nutrients evenly. Cycle Works designs and installs fertigation systems from the ground up – or as an adjunct to your existing irrigation system.
Each solution we develop takes into account the stages of plant life cycles, the results of soil and plant analysis, and optimal integration into your current maintenance strategy. We provide expert training and technical support to make sure you're in control and have a full understanding of how to implement new strategies on a day to day basis. Technical support is available by phone or in person.
